Procedure for using the culture room Tissue Culture Room Rules

1. Attended the Technique Course or Trained by approved labs or users
2. Provide hSCRO and IBC; users names must be listed in both protocols and SCRC listed in the IBC
3. Completed all EH&S required training (Online Course Offered by EH&S https://www.ehs.uci.edu/training/index.php)
   1. Laboratory Core Safety
   2. Hazardous Waste
   3. Bloodborne Pathogens
   4. Viral Vector (if applicable)
4. Fill out core user form and signed by PI
5. Lab tour & assigned to hood
6. Getting key card

Biosafety Cabinets - ESCO Class II Type A2

Esco Class II Type A2 biosafety cabinets provide an ULPA sterile working environment for sensitive tissue culturing. They come in 4-ft and 6-ft wide versions to accommodate small and large workloads.
